About the Role
Cookd is looking for a Social Media Manager to own and grow our social presence across platforms. This role is responsible for content planning, execution, community engagement, and performance ensuring Cookd shows up with a consistent, engaging, and culturally relevant voice.
This role works closely with the content, brand, growth, and product teams to translate Cookd’s story into daily, high-impact social content.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy & Content Execution
Own end-to-end social media execution across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms
Plan monthly and weekly content calendars aligned with brand, product, and campaign goals
Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across platforms
Work closely with internal teams and creators to execute high-quality content
2. Community & Engagement
Actively manage comments, DMs, and community interactions
Build strong relationships with the Cookd community and superfans
Monitor audience sentiment and feedback to inform content and brand decisions
3. Performance & Optimization
Track and analyze key social metrics such as reach, engagement, growth, and watch time
Optimize content based on insights, trends, and audience behavior
Support brand campaigns, launches, and collaborations through social media execution
4. Execution
Maintain a disciplined posting and review cadence
Collaborate closely with content, brand, and growth teams for campaigns and launches
Ensure smooth coordination across teams for timely execution
Role Expectations
First 30 Days
Deeply understand Cookd’s brand voice, audience, and content philosophy
Audit existing social media content, formats, and performance
Understand internal workflows, creators, and content pipelines
Take ownership of day-to-day posting, community management, and coordination
Medium-Term 60 Days
Own and execute a structured monthly and weekly content calendar
Improve content consistency, engagement, and hygiene across platforms
Introduce repeatable content formats and storytelling ideas
Actively collaborate with brand, growth, and product teams for campaigns and launches
Long-Term (90 Days) – Ownership & Scale
- Drive measurable improvement in engagement, reach, and community interaction
- Build strong community connect and fan engagement around Cookd
- Establish clear content playbooks and execution rhythm
- Independently manage social media execution end-to-end
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience managing social media for consumer, D2C, FMCG, or content-led brands
- Strong understanding of Instagram and YouTube content formats
- Hands-on experience with content planning, publishing, and community management
- Good sense of trends, culture, and storytelling
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments
- Strong communication and coordination skills
